This gong depicts a Buddhist Vajra Prayer Bell, and is a unique design that will not be replicated. At just under 19 inches, this is a large and powerful gong, which must be heard in person to be truly experienced. It comes as pictured, and with a mallet of your choosing.
 
The video demonstration shows the gong being played with two mallets. For filming purposes, the gong was hanging quite low, and the extra mallet helped stabilise the gong - however, it is not necessary to use two mallets to achieve the deep roar heard in the video.
 
Playing around the edges with one hand will tease the sound up to a crescendo which can be finished off with a firm but gentle tap in the centre of the gong. It produces a very beautiful sound, and provides a very soothing, healing experience. I strongly recommend using headphones when listening to the demonstration!
